Zero Waste GECT is a student-led initiative to make GEC Thrissur a model for sustainable waste management. The goal is to minimize landfill contributions by reducing, reusing, and recycling waste generated on campus, ultimately achieving a **zero-waste environment**.
This project involves the implementation of an integrated waste segregation, tracking, and awareness system. By combining technology with behavioral change campaigns, the project encourages students and staff to adopt environmentally responsible habits.
With the rise in environmental concerns and the need for sustainable solutions, Zero Waste GECT serves as a model for educational institutions aiming to create a lasting environmental impact. It’s more than just waste management – it's a community-driven sustainability mission.
Want to be a part of the green revolution? We welcome all students passionate about the environment, whether you're into electronics, software, logistics, or community outreach.
